IASIA-Global partners with Clovernook Center for the
Blind and Visually Impaired
Cel/Founder Michael A. Williams of IASIA-Global me with fellow board members Lynn Tune and Aleeta Roebuct to condut a monthly meeting at the Clovernook Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired. The partnership is designed to alert the sight impaired community within the Mid-South opportunities and resources avaible for them to take advantage of.
Clovernook offers training on the use of adaptive technology, as well as training for employment within its facilities located in several locations throughout the country or for other jobs within the private and public sector. The center also provides training in assistive living.
IASIA-Global will offer opportunities for the blind and visually impaired to become more involved in the visual and performing arts felds and is presently working on a comprehensive plan to develop many programs that would offer the greatest impact in funding similar art programs worldwide, as well as offering in-house opportunities for potential artists to have a place to call home and have access to all of the resources through, housing, traveling, health, technology and business.
